Edward is incredibly passionate Business Manager who is extremely inquisitive about all things to
do with Business Development and connecting the dots between Investors, Founders, Corporates
and Government, and as a result, has worked in and around complex start up projects in Oil & Gas
& Human resources development for most of his career. As a Business Development Consultant
(PwC Consulting), Edward is deeply inspired by entrepreneurship, Best Human Resource practices
as well as the growth of new start-ups. He is the founder of The Kampala Fresh market, a Fresh
produce market in the Kampala CBD that provides platform for fresh produce traders (start-ups)
and end users in a conducive environment to create livelihoods as well as commercial agriculture
success.
He currently is the Ugandan Country Business Manager for CV People Global and sits on the
Advisory Board of the Uganda Business Development Center, Private Sector Foundation Uganda,
as well as being a Venture Partner at the Uganda – Dubai Business Associates board.
Prior to that, he worked as the Business Development Manager – in charge of African Markets for
a Multi-National oil & Gas company in United Arab Emirates. He launched ADNOC’s early stages of
business efforts in East and West Africa between 2016 - 2020, as well as driving the company’s
relationships with Corporate & Emerging partners in East and West Africa. He has worked and lived
in Europe and Middle East for more than 10 years while learning the trade from the best Business
Development brains.
